About the Band
 
An Independent band from the Philippines whom begun in 1997 headed by their lead vocalist, lyricist and guitars, Mike Lila. Years after, he finally decided to return in the scene in 2014 and formed a new session group named, “Lila Blanca”.   

“Lila Blanca”- meaning; to live, one must experience death or to die. (Inspired and taken from the book of Mark). 

The band’s originals and own compositions focus on topics about life journeys, love, and the likes. And, what makes it even the most delightful is their style of having the Alternative, Pop, Rock and other forms and Electronica genre combined like no other-well, dont just take our word for it.

Altogether, placing their skills and talents, experiences and combined ideas, the group intends only to deliver simple yet remarkable lyrics and arrangements reaching the most exquisite and complete understanding of the entire composition. 

 

​The band made its very first release of their single, entitled “Ligaw”- a song about a lost love and finding its way back; making its way to the Top 10 and having it stay on charts for quite a long time (reverbnation.com) and other renowned radio, online, social, streaming and distribution platforms.

 

Up to date, Mike Lila and the band continues to create more dominant music records for its audiences and listeners to relish.
